#Wanting to be better(Shippuden)

Whenever someone tries to make a point about something the Konoha kunoichis, I need to make a pause and remind them how out of character they were in some of those moments.

Kishimoto pretty much abandoned Sakura and Ino's friendship and then tried to bring it back during the War arc. Ino lost her sensei and then her dad, and when was Sakura? You mean to tell me she wouldn't care? About any of it? Or when Sasuke was declared to be killed, do you mean to tell me that Ino wouldn't have run to find Sakura?

The way Hinata was written on Shippuden???? Naruto aside, people forget that Hinata refused to give up during the Chunning Exams and forced Neji to almost kill her if he wanted the victory. She was stubborn, she was prideful too, she had more going on than simply a crush on Naruto. She was told by her father she was a failure and yet she didn't give up on becoming a kunoichi, did she?

Then why is that Shippuden wrote her like her sole ambition was Naruto, hm?

And Tenten? She was MEAN when she wanted to be because she was highly competitive. We know that she wanted to train under Tsunade, so where did the death of that dream take her? She's such a powerful kunoichi and yet we know so little about her personality, her life...

We got "Ino and Hinata know some medic min techniques" in the most random way possible... We know Sakura would walk around with Hinata even, so what about their girl bonding moments during the genin to Shippuden years?

It made me so angry whenever the girls treated each other like strangers in Shippuden. So many stupid situations made to highly their teammates even if I meant to write the girls out of character...

I love the scene in naruto shippuden where Kakashi says "I'm really starting to take a liking to you" not because naruto freaks the hell out but because this implies that for the other like 3 and a half years Naruro knew Kakashi and the 16 years Kakshi knew of Naruto Kakshi just did not like Naruto at all.

One thing I would absolutely never ever ever want to happen ever but routinely think about near daily is a live-action adaptation Naruto à la One Piece or Percy Jackson series that actually takes the time to flesh out and delve into All Of The Shit. It would never work or be done well and I do not want it but also it would perhaps be so very fun to dissect, and what else do we need honestly

man does anyone else just constantly forget neji died?? i was rewatching the war arc and got to it like HUH OH YEAH like i remember shikaku and inoichi more than him because i just didn’t like the writing for his and repressed it too much so now whenever i see any reference to it my brain blue screens for like 20 seconds straight

Naruto's determination had rubbed off on her greatly. She followed in the never give up! likeness. And it was true, she doesn't want to just surrender to the fact that Itachi may go blind, without trying every possible option.

honestly it's a pity that post-shippuden and boruto after that didn't have some of the animators who're working on mid to late shippuden because those are the part where the animation truly shines...

I finally got to the arc where Gai fights Madara and we get to see his back story and I’m honestly a little bummed by it… I feel like they could’ve done a few things to make it better

Instead of Gai taking madras on all by himself we could have gotten a team up with Gai at 7 gates and Lee at 6 gates. Then after exhausting that this didn’t work Gai could step up and open the 8 gates.

This would have perfectly showcased the parallels Gai and Lee had growing up and would’ve been a great way to show how far Lee had come and how much he over came to also be considered a great shinobi. I feel like this would’ve been his perfect time in Shippuden to shine.

Also the fact that we never got a just Gai and Lee team up in the series is such a missed opportunity.

They also could’ve have showed the growth he had through his rivalry with Neji and it would’ve been a moment they could honor him.

Tenten should have been there. Writing her off was super lazy.

Also it would have been better if night Gai had caused more damage. Like Madara could’ve been trying to recover and just hanging on when Naruto came in and then encompassing the God tree is what gets Madara back up. This would have felt more rewarding. Instead it’s like, wow, Madara just healed himself instantly guess Gai sacrificed himself for nothing even though he wanted to do it for a purpose

I wish I could enjoy Naruto the way I used to...it wasn't my first anime but it was the most impressionable one! I got my own personal gripes with how the series went and where it is now :( but I think about that first arc in the land of waves a lot. I don't think even the anime I watch now can really compete with that...it was just so. Strong.. my brain goes crazy when I think about it and that's my model for a good introduction into the world your MC lives in and a way to set up themes

You finally gathered the courage within you to end your relationship with Sasuke. This wasn’t an easy decision. In fact it was tearing you apart. You still loved him. But the differences between your priorities and his were far too different to the point where they were conflicting with each other.

You might as well have been talking to a wall that day with how blank his expression was after you just announced how you were breaking up with him. The loud silence was killing you inside, does he not care at all?

-You wanting to break up with him was like a jab at his ego. The Sasuke Uchiha. The last prodigy of his clan and you wanted to leave him? Though this enraged him, he refused to let you know it. He couldn’t let you have the satisfaction of knowing that this actually affected him.

-After you left the apartment he started to completely trash the place. Everything in it was obliterated into nothingness. But as soon as he went out in public he acted completely fine as if nothing happened.

-Anytime you were around he would make sure you saw him with other girls. He wanted to show you that he could be with anybody he desired without a problem, at any given second. Show you that you weren’t nothing special to him.

-He was lying. Because as soon as you left his vision he treated the girls like shit and pushed them aside after they served their purpose in making you jealous.

-He tried to sleep with random women in the village to further prove that he didn’t need you. (He was really just trying to convince himself) but he couldn’t bring himself to do so. None of them even compared to your beauty. Even the thought of another person lying on the bed you two once shared disgusted him.

-After weeks of this even Sasuke couldn’t believe his own facade. He craved you. He craved your smile, your laughter, Your touch. And is willing to do whatever it takes to remind you that you belong with him.

-He sucked up his pride and begged Naruto to send you two on missions together. So you’d be basically forced to talk to each other . (Naruto uses this against him every now and then)

-During one of the missions, one of your comrades decide to get a little touchy with you. You pay this no mind since you have no interest in the guy, but Sasuke definitely notices it. What’s a worthless ninja doing talking to what’s his?

-A couple of days after that mission, the scenario of another man getting that close to you haunted Sasuke day and night. There’s no way in hell you’d ever willingly decide to be with any other man but him. Right? He needed the reassurance and he needed it now.

-It was 4 am when you opened the door to your apartment after you were awoken by loud desperate banging on the door just to be faced with your ex. He invited himself in, closing the door behind him as he slowly crept towards you.

“Sasuke?”

-He reached for your hand and held it in his, as he focused on you as if there was nothing else in this world. You could tell he developed dark circles since the last time you saw him.

“The day we got together was the day I chose you to be the one I repopulate my clan with. The only one worthy of the surname Uchiha. You’re mine and I’m yours.”

-He noticed how you were at a loss of words so he took this moment to do what he’s been yearning to. He grabbed the back of your head pulling you into a kiss. The kiss was messy and desperate. He kissed you as if you were the oxygen he needed to breathe. And to him, you were.

-Needless to say you were vulnerable to his request and took him back. How could you not?
